Friday, September 26 – Derek Seguin Comedy Night at Cinema Lyn
Kick off the weekend with a night of side-splitting laughter. Derek Seguin, one of Canada’s most celebrated stand-up comedians, will take the stage at Cinema Lyn at 7:00 PM. Known for his sharp wit, captivating storytelling, and award-winning performances at Just For Laughs and CBC’s The Debaters, Derek promises a show you won’t soon forget.
This special evening is a fundraiser for Chutes Coulonge Park, supporting the continued growth and development of year-round activities. Doors open at 6:30 PM, with VIP seating available in the first two rows and a complimentary drink coupon for those looking for the ultimate experience.
Saturday, September 27 – The Lumberjack Festival at Chutes Coulonge Park
The fun continues the very next day with our annual Lumberjack Festival—a celebration of the region’s rich forestry heritage. Bring the whole family for a full day of traditional competitions, live demonstrations, local food, music, and activities for all ages. From axe throwing to log rolling, the festival showcases the strength, skill, and spirit of the lumberjack tradition.
