Waterfall Camp offers children an immersive March Break experience set in the breathtaking natural landscape of Chutes Coulonge. Throughout the week, campers explore the winter forest, learn about waterfall ecology, engage in creative activities, and build age-appropriate outdoor skills.
Led by experienced staff, the camp emphasizes play, curiosity, cooperation, and respect for nature. Through movement, imagination, and hands-on learning, children enjoy an active and meaningful week rooted in the beauty and power of the winter environment.
Guided Snowshoe Forest Exploration
Exploring snowy trails while learning about winter landscapes, trees, and moving confidently through nature.
Waterfall Ecology
Hands-on discovery of water systems, ice formations, and the plants and animals that thrive around waterfalls in winter.
Winter Survival Basics
Fire making, animal tracking, shelter building, and fire cooking, focused on safety and resilience.
Nature Art & Storytelling
Creative activities inspired by the forest, the falls, and winter folklore.
Winter Games
Cooperative and active outdoor games that encourage movement, teamwork, and joy in the snow, utilizing the low-ropes course.
