Aerial Park Guide

Description:
Facilitate and lead outdoor excursions safely and enjoyably.

Main Duties:

• Welcome and assist groups.
• Give activity instructions and explain equipment.
• Collect and inspect equipment.
• Have clients complete participation forms.
• Ensure group well-being.
• Administer first aid if needed.
• Promote products and services.
• Ensure policies and safety measures are followed.
• Maintain overall site and building cleanliness (washrooms, garbage inside/outside, picnic areas).

Qualifications:

• Professional, team-oriented,
  independent, dynamic, enthusiastic, honest, organized.
• Customer service skills
• Bilingual FR/EN (other languages an asset)
• Emergency procedures
  knowledge
• All training provided: First
  Aid, CPR, Rope Rescue
• Valid driver’s license
• Good physical fitness 
• Stress tolerance

Working Conditions:

• Standing long periods,
  outdoors in all weather
• Flexible hours: evenings, weekends, holidays
• Seasonal duties may vary

Compensation:

• Above minimum wage, depending on experience

Park Ranger

Main Duties:

• Open/close site including alarms
• Morning trail checks & paperwork
• Provide info on services/products
• Take reservations
• Maintain good PR with clients & staff
• Monitor admissions & aerial fees
• Compile visitor statistics
• Process boutique/souvenir sales
• Maintain promotional & souvenir inventory
• Encourage longer and repeat site visits
• Guided tours of historical park
• Ensure service equipment ready
• Maintain overall site cleanliness of trash bins, buildings, toilets, picnic areas
